I've almost conquer this small section of the globe...
...good thing Megan just moved to Rhode Island and Josh still lives in Texas.
Here is the insatiable part...
...so many places to go!
I'm running a marathon in a few hours. Staring at the computer is my new way of calming myself, for this supplies much needed visuals during my hours alone. As I run, part of of my thought patterns drift to traveling (plus, I have great conversations with my close friends). Having these maps fresh in my mind will help me answer running-queries such as, "Where exactly is Guam?" or "When I go to Kenya, what other countries could I dip into?"
There is my rationale for the maps...what I am just not typing is that I am anxious! I am trying to exhale deeply, stretch out of obligation, and listen to Aaron's compliments...these are all great parts of my life, but still the heart rate is up, UP, UP!
The "Loneliness of this Long Distance Runner" will be written during this marathon (I am a brilliant author when I run) and hopefully that prose will remain, even after I unlace my shoes, and end up here.
Ohhhh, yessss, marathon number four is just about here...I will be using your vibes and energy tomorrow morning, many thanks in advance!

You know I was there screaming in spirit for you during the entire 26.3 miles. I think your time was great and I can't wait to see the pictures. By the way what was your bib number? Sorry to hear that this run was such a painful one. You do realize that as you get older your body tries to talk to you, and apparently your spirit and desire to run is much stronger than your listening skills. I guess since you get all tied up in your thoughts and inner conversations you don't hear pain! Take care of your body, you still have a long long way to go.
So proud of you and your team, you all did great. Hope that you are able to get the piano you desire and worked so hard for.

Kerri you are amazing! Your dedication and perserverance is impressive! You led your team to conquer a unique feat and you should be so proud! I love you! Take care of that knee!

P.S. My wedding in Kenya will take place on Lake Victoria (across from the Ugandan border) and the safari will take us right into or near Tanzania, so if you can make it next year, it should be three countries at once!
Congratulations Kerri! Everyone here at school, teachers and students, is rooting for your knee...and proud of you.
Thanks for the love!
Janet, I will find out the exact amount but I know we raise over $3000. According to Emily (runner and fundraising organizer), we will surely be able to get a piano. I think you raised a valid point. I actually said aloud, "Ouch, my body feels older, it is tighter." But, you know how well I listen! LOVE YA,
Kerri
Hello again,
Well is the piano a reality yet? Hope so.....
hugs and kisses

Oh, YES! We raised enough money to buy a new piano! Thanks to everyone!
